Punjabi singer-actor Gippy Grewal and Govinda's daughter Narmada Ahuja are gearing up for their big Bollywood debut with SECOND HAND HUSBAND. Their upcoming film is all set to go on floors post Diwali i.e. on October 26, 2014.
Gippy reveals, “Yes the film will go on floors after Diwali. Since SECOND HAND HUSBAND is based in Punjab, 60-70% of the film will be shot there and the rest of it in Mumbai. The first schedule of the film will take place in Jalandhar.”
Further talking about the film, Gippy says, “SECOND HAND HUSBAND is high on concept. It's on the lines of good films like VICKY DONOR. It has a very unique topic which hasn't been told before. SECOND HAND HUSBAND is a rom-com and it has intelligent humor.”
Narmada, who is paired opposite Gippy, plays his girlfriend in the film.
Ask Gippy if he has already met his co-star Narmada and he says, “No I am yet to meet her. The day I will step down in Mumbai for photoshoot, I will definitely meet her.”
Gippy is excited about Narmada making her Bollywood debut with SECOND HAND HUSBAND. “With Narmada being part of the film, it would be a big draw, since she is Govindaji's daughter.”
Also starring Dharmendra, SECOND HAND HUSBAND is directed by Smeep Kang.
